Second Life is a fantasy world loaded with so many things there truly the imagination is the limit... if that. Most people in the SL population are in there because their real life is miserable, sick, unhappy, dull or lacking in something one way or another.

Second Life Families

Numerous SL families have been formed by people who never knew each other before, some are tight and stick together for a long time, some are not so much and they might end with some drama or just change in one form or another.

Second Life Parenthood

There are notably many adult or young adult people role-playing children (RL age limit in Second life is 17, or with guardian's approval 13 for G rated places), and it sure has a cute factor especially when they play it well. But what if something happens? After all those kids are not really your kids, they have their own individuality inherited from their RL parents, many things you as SL parent cannot control. What if they decide to stop being a kid, or just walk away on you one day, leaving your broken heart behind?

Prim Babies

There is one fail-proof approach Second Life offers and this is where it gets really cute and cool.

Creativity is amazing in this world and creating babies with their AI behavior, movements, actions and reactions is one of the most adorable magic of the grid. We call them Prim Babies.

My dear friend Kailynn has two of those and anytime she brought them to our club while we held a party, those little buggers sure cheered up everyone immediately.  Yes they are simply just lovable crawling around the floor, even playing with their toys.

Zoobyville

So I visited one of these stores. The one I went to, called Zooby. I have no idea what it means but that's the name.

No surprise there I was the only man in the store and some of the ladies already had a baby they were carrying while shopping in the different rooms. One section was filled with these prim babies from several different race and skin tones, the others with furniture, accessories.

As I walked around I took a few shots because this was sure a new experience for me. The babies looked as real as they possibly could with the present graphical limits, their sound made of real or very realistic playback and I couldn't help it but smile as I was exploring the place.

I don't have children in RL and I don't know if I am at all a father material, but living in this virtual world, the opportunity is there to make believe something and live in it. I am married in Second Life and have been thinking of getting one of these little cooing cutenesses to complete our second life perhaps with some more color. Of course this is still a discussion to come with my lovely wife and if it would happen we probably would skip the whole pregnancy game - we'd call it adoption instead, but whether we will get a baby I can certainly suggest everyone a visit to this place just to get a feeling of a virtually artificial mommy/daddy world...

Prim Entertainment reached 500 Members!

When we created Prim Dance Club on a small parcel somewhere in Second Life we already knew what we wanted. Only 6 months later we have over 500 happy members in our community and the dance club has grown into a fully supplied Entertainment Center where people can enjoy more than just a club:

Boardgame's room with Greedy-Greedy, Simopoly, Yathze, Chess and many others.

There is a movie theater with ongoing movies 24/7
and all around merchants offering their quality products and gifts. 

Couples can visit our romantic Village where gondola ride is waiting for them, animals and a beautiful walk.
Virtual fishers from both the 7seas and the FishHunt community can hang out where Chatsploder makes the conversations more fun.

Prim Entertainment Center is 6 months old today!

Prim Dance Club opened in September 24th, but Prim Entertainment Center, the whole sim opened to the public in October 24th. So that makes today the 6th month since that day.

We are still here... and are not going anywhere. :) 

I want to thank you all for your support, and we will keep doing what we are doing, having the place with a family-like atmosphere.

Tuesday nights at Prim Dance Club are always about romance, love, and some mushy stuff. Couples come together and enjoy the beautiful music, dance, chat and filling up the room with love.

300!

Some said PRIM is "doomed to fail", some said it won't last a month, bad taste rumors started to circulate, but we said Prim will be there today, tomorrow, next year and will keep growing. When people say you that you CAN'T do something and WON'T succeed, they only say that because they are scared that you CAN do it and you WILL succeed. So we CAN and so we WILL. Since we opened Prim Dance Club couple months ago, dozens, maybe hundreds of clubs closed and they keep closing because they can't make it but we are still here and will be being more popular every day.

With only one DJ, Prim Dance Club became one of the most popular clubs in SL, in fact we grew to a whole region with many different attractions, games, bowling, and a list of other things.

Leading a place with kindness, based on true friendship, family, based on understanding and care, without stupid rules and fake people PRIM has became a place where people love to come back again and again.

Yesterday we reached the magic number of 300 members. It's not bad from a club that is "doomed to fail" right? 300 might not be a lot, but just like the Spartan army could prevail with that number against much greater once, I see that as a lucky number. 300 is the number that shows to us that we will keep growing, keep having fun, and PRIM Entertainment Center, and Prim Dance Club will keep serving both as family and as a place to feel good, feel safe, feel free.

I want to thank you to all of you who has been supportive and being part of this great group.

Snuffles at PRIM

Snuffles are magical creatures known to roam secretly amongst the wilderness in the many forests of the Second Life grid. You know why we named the club Prim? Because it's the basic element you need for anything in Second Life. Without a prim you have bas

ically nothing. This virtual world would be blank. Nothing in it.

So Prim Dance Club was created to to be that basic element for fun, freedom and friendship. And what it makes it really really different from some other clubs is this:

Wether you are staff or VIP...

1. No one gets zapped just because they are in a wrong inch in the club.
2. No one gets ejected because they are wearing an animal costume or a toy gun.
3. No one is watching every word you say or every move you make.
4. No one is whining at you for saying or doing something he doesn't like.
5. No one is getting bitched at by playing a song from the 80s
6. No one gets ejected for being away from the keyboard.

7. New SL residents are not being made fun of or ejected or tortured or insulted. We all were newbies one day.
8. And at Prim Dance Club no one is being treated without respect.
